What we do
Ordinary family carpet, mostly. A few years of feet, a dog that sleeps in the same spot, a passage gone darker than the room.
Couches and chairsCouches, dining chairs, mattresses and headboards. We test the fabric before anything gets wet.
RugsPersian, wool, jute, shaggy. Dusted on a shaker table and washed at our place, then brought back.
Pest controlCockroaches, ants, bed bugs, fleas and birds in the roof. Warmth and water is what brings them in, not the state of your house.
Chimney sweepingBooked before winter rather than during it, which is when everybody phones at once.
Wood borerInspection and certificate for a transfer. Tell us the deadline when you phone.
How to book

We ask a couple of questions, send the times that are open, then an acceptance of quote so everyone is looking at the same thing before anyone comes out.
We come and clean
We’ll move what we can and be straight about what we can’t. If something isn’t going to lift, you hear it while we’re standing there.
You’ve got your room back
Anything that came up while we were working, you hear it from us before we leave. Then the house is yours again.
